September 24th -- at Oregon
October 8th -- at USC
October 22nd -- at Stanford

First of all, that's an insane road schedule. Especially when November 12th at Arizona is the 5th road game and, as we've seen, Rich Rod has had them making pushes into the Top 15 of the rankings at times.

Second of all... opportunities for making memories that last a lifetime while gaining major national publicity for the program during the season.

So, which of the road dog games do you most want to see the Buffs win?
 
Michigan, because it would generate the most buzz, nationally, against what will probably be a top 10 team at the time, and set the early season tone that the Buffs are truly on the rise. Also, it would most likely mean a 3-0 start for the team.
 
Would love to beat Michigan and that would gain some serious exposure but considering we have won two pac 12 games in three years I don't really think you can pick them. So from my logic I would definitely pick beating USC in la. We haven't done really well recruiting so cal in a while and it would help us the most to beat the "best" pac program for once.
 
Buffs being 2-0 at the big house would be something special. I am making plans to be there as well.

Voted Michigan. My reasoning is stated by TSchekler. We agree 100%!
 
**** Harbaugh* for coming in and taking our best in-state player back to back years. I want them bad.

Michigan. It's the pretty much the only one that media & college FB fans outside of the Pac12 will really pay attention to. Conference outsiders wouldn't get too riled about an intra-conference upset.
 
I'm kind of torn between Michigan and USC.

Michigan would set the tone for the season and do so much for media attention along with driving attendance at Folsom.

But USC is the program the Pac-12 South goes through. That's also so important for SoCal recruiting.

I voted USC. Any of the 4 would be totally allsome, though. No wrong answer here.
 
Oregon. Has to be a conference game (for significance) and Oregon has most national recognition last decade.
 
Michigan. It'll be early in the year and would build a ton of momentum going into conference play. If we go into Michigan and whup them, we will have a good shot at other upsets as well.
 
Winning the Michigan game (assuming we are 3-0), probably gets us votes in the polls, puts CU on ESPN non stop for that week. Builds excitement around the fan base early in the season and probably boosts attendance the rest of the year. It's a huge opportunity.
 
Stanford.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. They're defending conference champs and really the only team we played last year that utterly destroyed us. They are what we aspire to.
 
Getting off to a 3-0 start would give us the best chance at making our most important recruiting class in the last ten years our best recruiting class in the last ten years.

And beating michigan in the big house would make jim harbaugh's head explode.
 
I think you could also argue that it depends on how the rest of the season has gone. If we're in position for a bowl at the end of the season and Stanford is a top 15 program, that would be huge. If CU is a 3 win team by that point, does it really matter if we beat them on the road?

Because of this, Oregon is my #2 because it's still early enough to generate a lot of buzz and national attention, even with a loss to UM the week before.
 
As Nik said, there is no wrong answer.

But holy crap, that is a hellacious road schedule. May have to sweep the conference home schedule to get to a bowl.

I can't deny the hard logic of why a W at Michigan or USC or O would be fantastic.

I'm with Sacky, but for emotional reasons. Stanford can always go choke on a big bag of money flavored dick. Hate those guys. Let's beat them and then beat them again in the CCG.
 
Hard not to say Michigan. Slapping down Harbaugh in the big house would be awesome. Stanford has some appeal too since the are the PAC 12 champs and I likely will be there. But I went with USC. Division foe, in the LA hot bed for recruiting, we've never beaten them and I dislike them about as much as any program.
 
Michigan because there is obviously a mental side to football. Winning that game, and perhaps taking a Top 25 team into Conference play would be huge for the team's confidence.

Also, it would make the fanbase go nuts early into the year
 
I also voted Michigan because it's up first and it would be a huge confidence booster that might translate to more upsets.
 
Conference game would send a message to the rest of the conference that we aren't here to be kicked around anymore.

Still vote for Meatchicken though because it would mean more in terms of national exposure and recruiting. Would also likely set us up to edge into the rankings.

MEE-CHI-GAN! I hate Harbaugh worse than I hate Lon Kruger!
Besides, Oregon and U$C may not even be upsets by the time those games roll around.......if the Buffs can beat UM.
Not sold on UO's new QB and Helfrich overall. U$C also has a lot to replace on "D", as well as their QB.
