Which running back do you think will make the biggest impact this season?
Gotta pick one. :smile2:Early it will be Scott. Later it will be speedy.
But it's not going to work that way. In 2001 Chris Brown wasn't a factor until the second half of the season.Gotta pick one. :smile2:

I think it will depend on the oline. if they stay healthy then Dscott will light up everyone we play but if not then Speedy's shiftyness will make him more productive.Really tough poll.
I think I have to go with DS because if he lives up to expectations than he is just the one.
I just love Speedy though. It is difficult to not pick him.
If Hildreth becomes the guy then I will start questioning the coaching. Speedy and Scott should be head and shoulders above a true FR no matter what. If Hildreth is running hard and out performing two guys with talent and experience in the system it's because Hagan has coached them into mediocraty. I hope it's not true but we saw a similar thing with Brian Calhoun. (I know Hagan wasn't his coach, I'm just saying stuff like this happens). He got worse with the Rb coaching at CU and blossomed when he went to Wisconson.Had to be the controversial one in the poll. He seemed to be getting quite a few reps in August, and we always have a few hard-working guys who come on by surprise and become huge contributors on their way to earning a scholly.
That being said, Scott and Stewart are the bread and butter. But, stranger things have happened, right?
It should also be noted that Wisco had a great OL in front of him.If Hildreth becomes the guy then I will start questioning the coaching. Yeah, but do you remember how he ran hard as a freshman against NU and after that he started tap dancing (like the rest of our RBs). I think part of our problem in that time period was bad RB coaching.I don't think Calhoun got worse with the CU coaching, the coaches just didn't use him right. Remember the reason he transfered was because of the position change.
