These are the coaches who seem to be realistic choices. We would all like Venerables but that doesn't seem like a possibility. Let me know if there are any other who I left out. Pick three
Not sure we can get him. Not a bad callGrinch train.
Will narrow it down laterMultiple choice kinda defeats the purpose
I don't know all the details so who knows, but would he be harder to land than Tucker? Not sure we can get him. Not a bad call
EB is head coach. Chev is HC in waiting. We give EB 3 years and Chev takes over. With RG and LC running the program, we are good. PAC12 Champions, on the verge on NC!
He does know the West Coast and knows talent little doubt on those. I would tend believe he's cleaned up his act under Saban.Where's Sark's name ? I'd vote for him if I could
This whole integrity thing can die. That kind of salary increase and staff salary increase and S&C resources increase will make anyone change their tune in a heartbeat. The Brinks trucks that were lined up and back doors opened spilling out cash would make anyone change their tune in a damn hot second. I don't hold this against Tucker a single bit, but feel very badly for the players who committed to him and his vision, and badly for how hard RG and the rest of the staff worked to see it pretty much change with the scent of money. We have short term memories and really like to conjecture.
Remember we just went through this about 15 months ago. The names that were at the top of the list were Les Miles and others that were in our Buffvision glasses. I was so impressed by Rick George and Lance Carl going outside this bias and picking somebody that was an excellent choice. Turns out FHCMT -- and I suspect his wife -- was driven by money (and maybe a sense of 'home') over integrity.
I trust RG more than MT and know we will be stronger, even though it will probably be somebody not on this polling list.
This 100% false. He moved to UCLA because he would have much better support for his kid (special needs) than he could get here. He and Embree also wanted to support one of the only AA head coaches in CFB at that point. My problem with EB is that I think its more about EB than it will be about CU. He left Barnett hanging way back when after just a year. If the NFL comes calling EB will head out the door again too.
In my mind there is a college coach out there that will give us 5 years or more.
Yeah, I think he was getting a big raise, too. Was only making something like $120-140k at CU and got a big bump at UCLA, which also helped with his kid. No issues there. This 100% false. He moved to UCLA because he would have much better support for his kid (special needs) than he could get here. He and Embree also wanted to support one of the only AA head coaches in CFB at that point.
Which would suggest that it is all NOT about EB
I want a defensive minded no **** taking loyal faithful recruiter that can wear a tux or pull off cargo shorts that lives breathes not only football, but CU Black Gold and Silver football and is not afraid of Ralphie and can dance
Unless CU goes with a HC Triumvirate. It worked for the Romans...for a while.Multiple choice kinda defeats the purpose
I’ll fixNo Andy Avalos?
