Spoon got injured early in the season and has been battling some nagging stuff all year. Hasn't been a good season for him especially as you noted he has become the target.

Would be no surprise if he uses the off-season to get healthy and address some of his weaknesses and comes back strong next season.

Had a foot injury early in the season. Sometimes those are things that just don't come back until you spend a lot of time off it. (coming from someone who spends too much time at the podiatrist.)

Chris Collinsworth going on and on about Spoon was bull****.

Plenty of guys have tough games and get benched. Very rarely do you hear a TV guy talk about that guy as long as Collinsworth did about Spoon. Maybe a QB, but that's it.
