Ahkello has had a tough last few games as the 49ers starting CB on the other side of Richard Sherman, who is in All Pro lockdown mode so the other teams always throw to Witherspoon's side lately. It looks like he may have lost his starting position after getting pulled in the first quarter in this recent playoff game against the Vikings. However, he hasn't lost his team spirit or motivation. This short article on the subject is worth the read.

They mentioned last night that he looked hurt. Wonder if that’s true.

Spoon got injured early in the season and has been battling some nagging stuff all year. Hasn't been a good season for him especially as you noted he has become the target.

Would be no surprise if he uses the off-season to get healthy and address some of his weaknesses and comes back strong next season.

Chris Collinsworth going on and on about Spoon was bull****.

Plenty of guys have tough games and get benched. Very rarely do you hear a TV guy talk about that guy as long as Collinsworth did about Spoon. Maybe a QB, but that's it.
