Matchup Preview
The #21 ranked Buffs have been ballin’ lately and have officially secured a top-four finish in the Pac-12. This also means that they earned a first-round bye in the upcoming tournament. Despite their golden position, the Buffs play their biggest game of the season tonight as the #3 ranked Stanford Cardinal pull-up to Boulder. The Buffs have played amazing this season, as they have built their record to an exceptional 21-6. Stealing the last two games would set them up nicely for an extended run in March Madness. This wouldn’t be the first time the Buffs have upset Stanford in recent history, as they took care of #1 overall Stanford(then) in an overtime thriller. The Buffs have struggled with Stanford in the years after but the implications of this matchup should give them some much-needed energy. Additionally, the Buffs are focused on showing up as a team and doing whatever it takes. This game will be decided based on whether the Buffs achieve these goals, as they need a consistent effort from everybody on the offensive end.
In all honesty, a matchup of this caliber should be played in primetime. The timing isn't ideal but our ladies still need your support. Show up to the Events Center to support the Buffs and if you’re busy then tune in to the Pac-12 Network!
