Who the heck are they going to hire? They aren't going to get another coach that has won as much as Tuberville..


I would have at least given Tuberville next year to turn it around..

I ain't saying he's a Top 5 coach, but to have a record like that at a school that's 2nd in the state is pretty impressive.. Auburn will regret this..

If Auburn was to take Leach and I was the Tech AD, I would do everything I could to get Tuberville. If they could make that trade, It would be like getting away with robbing a bank.
 
Hands down the DUMBEST move by an AD this year. But they aren't done yet, they are trying to hire Pirate Mike, not a bad coach, but they just sent their spread oriented OC out of town on a rail about two months ago, after he had a whole three or four games to get the spread going....:asskicking::shot::doh::brick::keule:
 
The guy averaged 9 wins a season, should probably have a MNC, and absolutely owned Alabama for SIX years in a row. These people are as dumb as the stereotypes we make them out to be.
 
If you guys remember 'Jetgate' Lowder and CTT have been at odds for a while. He has been looking to get out for a while. I do not like his used car salesman style but he is a solid coach. He did benefit from some bad years at UA due to the probation and a terrible hire by us. If he wants to coach [he does have some health issues] he will find a job. Rumor is Miss State really wants him. Rumor is the tigers are looking at the Tech coach as mentioned and Petrino. Petrino was the target coach in jetgate and was one of the OCs for CTT.

Correct. Lowder is a complete asswipe.

Leach would be horrible. Looks like your team will dominate the state for a good long while now.
 
His offense wouldn't prosper against SEC defenses. Not sure he could recruit all that well either.

wonder what type of signs and planes with banners texas fans would fly over Alabama if that happened. Or how many time Mack Brown would come on TV whining and crying about how unfair the system if hiring coaches is that he agreed to before the season started....:lol:
