Are?Wheels are coming off this season.
I don't know if Tad will say it publicly (he might), but I have to assume that this is the most frustrating season of basketball he has ever experienced.
This. And you can guess why he was late for the UNC game. Here's my opinion. I think XJ and some other guys thought that things were going to be handed to them. They have been successful throughout their entire career so far and they thought it would be the same this year. The partying stuff like that is not new this year and XJ needs to know he is a student athlete. He can't be like me or the majority of CU and party every Thursday and Friday.I have tried to bite my tongue on this since the beginning of the season, and mods please alter this or whatever if you feel the need. XJ needs to grow the **** up. For personal reason I will not explain, but I know exactly why he was late to shoot around for the NCAA tournament game against Pitt. I know exactly why he and Wes looked so tired and out of it during that game. I ran into him and Josh Scott at The Walrus immediately before they left for the Georgia game this year. I know that XJ and a few teammates throw parties on a semi regular basis. The suspensions only reaffirm that he either cannot responsibly handle being 21 or he doesn't care.
Before this team can go anywhere XJ needs to decide whether he wants to be a basketball player or a regular student. I get being in college. I get partying. I get bar hopping. I however did not have the responsibility or expectations of an athletic scholarship, my team, my fans, and my university on my shoulders. He needs to learn that during basketball season it is time to work, be successful at his job and there will be no shortage of attention around town. Tad needs to put his foot down. This stuff has to stop.
No need to edit this or moderate it. If anyone has a problem with it, there's an easy way for XJ and others on the team to turn this stuff around. It's life. If you perform at your job, no one really cares how you handle your personal life. But when you don't perform, you can't appear to have your personal life being the problem.

He'll tee off at some point. It's Tad; when he feels the time is right, the safeties are coming off
So, between the Thursday and Saturday games, while in AZ with his teammates and coaches, he needs to get high? XJ may have a problem.

Pump the brakes. Now we are getting into conjecture and something that could damage a young man's rep. Take it easy on the leaps in logic.
You're right. i was responding to the posts saying he's been partying, which no one thought improper or disagreed with. But, what else could he do between post-game Arizona, to Friday, when they sent him home - get in a fight?
