You guys, you guys! I figured out why we lost the USC game!

Did anything ever come out of them switching their players jersey numbers against us? They talked about it on PTI when it happened but I've heard nothing since.

I just heard SVP talking about it, wtf kind of bs is that? Straight up bush league and then the Oregon thing. The student manager gets fired lol. I'm sure no one put them up to it. I didn't know U$C did that against us but its not surprising with their classy HC.

It's about USC switching jersey numbers during the game itself, which is in clear violation of the NCAA rulebook.

During Saturday's win over Colorado, USC changed Kessler's jersey to No. 35, the same number as punter Kyle Negrete. Kessler was then used on a two-point conversion in the first half. (The try was successful, with Kessler running it in himself, but called back due to holding.) In the second half, reports the Los Angeles Times, Kessler went back to using No. 6.
The NCAA rulebook says the following about swapping jersey numbers: "Numbers shall not be changed during the game to deceive opponents." A team caught doing so will be assessed a 15-yard penalty and "flagrant offenders shall be disqualified."
So that's the rule. Did USC break it? Feel free to argue over whether Lane Kiffin knowingly alternated jerseys so as to confuse Colorado on the two-point try or whether Kessler's jersey change was mere coincidence.

Yes he knew and Jim Tressel knew when he was cheating too. "Probably" doesn't enter into it.

Kiffin really thought he needed to cheat to beat CU? Man, he's pulling out all the stops to keep his job, isn't he?

Are you saying that Kiffin was knowingly cheating with the intent to confuse CU in order to gain an advantage on CU? Just to be clear, SC's opponent was CU, the University of Colorado.

What goes around comes around, when the AD grows a pair and let's **** happen, I'd specifically target SC. Sorry for not using sarcasm font. No they didn't need it but it happened, we are bitches if we do nothing next time we play them. I hope that peckerwood is still coaching then.

Sarcasm aside, then why do it? Rule break or not, all the rules aren't in the book. Burn enough bridges in anything, it will catch up to u. Bitch move period.
