Nice job, RK. However, you missed one: KSU is 3-6 with 3 to play. if they win out, they're in.

A brief update:
  • Middle Tennessee is pounding the dog outta North Texas, so that's another slot filled as they'll get to 6 wins with that result.
  • VT is down by two scores with 6 minutes remaining, so it's likely they don't get their sixth win this week
  • West Virginia is up 49-0 on Kansas, so pretty safe to say that's another bowl team as WVU will have 6
  • KSU down to ISU with 6 to play, but they've got the ball and have shut out the Cyclones in the second half. A loss seals KSU's fate.
  • Indiana is up by 3 scores over Maryland with the ball and 13 minutes to go. Seems likely they'll stay alive at least another week, as they'll be 5-6.
  • Illinois has the ball, but is down by a point to Minnesota with 2 minutes remaining. We want Minnesota to hang on as that result makes them both 5-6.
  • South Alabama is up 10-0 early in their easiest remaining game vs. Georgia State. A win locks up a bowl bid for South Alabama
  • Western Kentucky is up on FIU 14-0 early. A loss means FIU is out with 7 losses.
  • A bevy of significant games kick off in 15 minutes at 1:30.

Damn! Good call and the ended up getting that win so they are still alive, I'll add them in the next one if it ends up being needed.
@Buffnik I'll definitely add some more detail to the next post.

  • KSU won, still alive but need to win out (2 games left)
  • Indiana won, still alive but need one more win
  • Minnesota won. Both Illinois an Minnesota still alive, but both need a win next week.
Currently active games:
  • Georgia State is now UP on South Alabama by 7 points with 13 to go.
  • Western Kentucky is boatracing FIU 35-0 at half.
  • Nevada is up on Utah State 14-7 in the second half. Utah State needs to win either this week or next week to get eligible.
  • Old Dominion just scored and is tied with Southern Miss, 14-14 in the second half. Old Dominion needs to win this week or next week to get eligible.
  • UTEP up 7-3 in the second on Lousiana Tech. A loss gives UTEP 7 on the season; they'd be out.
  • UConn up 7-3 on Houston and knocking on the door again. a win makes UConn eligible
  • Akron leads Buffalo 14-7 in the 2nd Q. Winner will be eligible.
  • ASU up 14-7 on Arizona. ASU is in with a win.
  • Auburn is winning at home vs. Idaho, 14-7 in the 2nd Q. Auburn needs a win this week or next.

  • 7 punched their card to eligibility today, leaving 10 slots left.
  • 2 lost and are out.
  • 5 lost and are still in with a win next week.
  • 3 won and need 1 or more wins to get to 6.
  • 6 more teams have a game in progress.

Results:
  • South Alabama lost; they still need one win out of their last two, which are tougher teams than Georgia State
  • Western Kentucky won; FIU is OUT (down to 26 teams besides CU still alive)
  • Utah State came back to beat Nevada; they're IN. Down to 14 slots left
  • Southern Miss beat up on Old Dominion. OD is still alive, but they need a win next week
  • UTEP couldn't complete the comeback on Lousiana Tech. They're OUT (down to 25 teams other than CU still alive)
  • UConn somehow beat Houston. They're IN. 13 slots left.
  • Akron beat Buffalo. They're IN. 12 slots left, and Buffalo is still alive, needing a win next week to get eligible.

  • Rice lost to UTSA. They are OUT. (Down to 16 teams besides CU for 9 slots)
