None of these were surprising as both Thompson and McCarthy were expected to announce for cal. Remember the name Tosh Lupoi because he is the only reason they are piling up these recruits. He is not proven as a coach, but he is one hell of a recruiter and the players are buying the Cal koolaid.

The DL that have gone to the NFL recently have not been Tosh Lupoi recruits so I just want to see him coach up his own talent he brings in. On another note there is no way even if I had studied I would have ever been let into Cal lol.... Not exactly the brightest Canadian.
P.S. how many bear pictures do you have lol?

Cal has been recruiting decently well (even before Tedford) with high school like football facilities. Now with $450+ million spent on new and rebuilt facilities, there is even stronger momentum on the recruiting front. Whether that is short term or long term depends on whether JT can get more out of the new talent and win some important games.
And sorry, the stadium rebuild only included the 2/3 of the stadium that would have crumbled in an earthquake. The visitor section (and student section) is still the old stadium, porta-potties, knees in the back, and all that fun stuff. Still worth the trip to NorCal in 2013 though.

Lupoi is hands down the best recruiter in the country.
It's amazing that Cal is as mediocre as they are with the recruits they've pulled the past few years. If they ever get a QB or an offense they potentially could be very good.
