Any thoughts? Indications?
Anyone see if Daniel Martin from Pueblo East signed anywhere? Led team to back-to-back 3A state titles as QB/CB/P and was the 3A POTY in Colorado.
Kind of guy I like getting onto the team and seeing if he can earn a scholarship (like Moeller).
Don't know if he's a PWO, but looks like the Buffs did pick up a punter earlier this month in Cole Cirillo from Bellevue (WA) HS. (Sorry if this has already been noted somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything via a quick search.)
Lot smaller than his dad 6'0" 205 but if he is as tough as his dad he could find a place on this roster.
Played for a terrible HS team (0-10)

Looks on the tape like a kid who has very good instincts, balance, and toughness. Unfortunately also looked like he didn't have great speed.
Great to have him on board
Name?I think we got a kicker out of the Denver area.
I can't remember someone posted it on rivalsName?
Davis Price out of EvergreenI can't remember someone posted it on rivals
No idea if he's a PWO, but looks like the Buffs have received a new walk-on commit for 2016 in 6'3" QB Casey Marksberry from Waunakee High School in the town of the same name in Wisconsin. (I know nothing about Wisconsin football, but sounds like Waunakee is a traditional strong program, with a coach who's been there a long time and has a 229-35 career record and 5 state championships in Wisconsin's Division 2 to his credit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waunakee_High_School9 )
Welcome and congrats to Mr. Marksberry for joining the Buffs!
Stats- http://www.wissports.net/roster_players/8576530
(Stats look reasonable, but an article I found right before their last playoff game said he was completing over 60% of his passes (http://www.gazettextra.com/20151104/parkview_leaving_rock_valley_in_football), while these stats show 50%. In general, I'm never sure how accurate any high school stats are? Didn't throw a lot, as it looks like his team runs a lot and well (based on their 12-1 record).)
Edit- looks like back in mid-February, both his team's and his dad's twitter congratulated him on committing to CSU, so he must have changed his commitment. Based on the below from his dad, it does look like CU is where he's ended up.
Nice. Legacies ftwJacob Stoltenberg has committed. (Not 100% sure it's as a PWO)
Bryan Stoltenberg, CU All-American center on that great OL Rashaan ran behind, is his dad. Tragically died after an auto accident a few years ago. http://www.cubuffs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205875378
Whatever he is (scholly or PWO) kid can play. Has good instincts and hits hard. He wraps up well on his tackles too, which we are missing. How good a league is Clements High School?
Also... MOAR LB's!
