I don't really think the "it's early" excuse works anymore.
It is still the beginning of August. There are still 6 months until signing day. It isn't early, but it isn't time to be disappointed yet either.
It's okay to be disappointed in how DL recruiting has gone thus far. Some urgency would not be a bad thing.

Right. It is also important to remember we may see some high school targets signing in December this year.
I think most P5 programs will only have about 5 slots or so available in February.
That would surprise me. I think it will be more like half sign in December and half sign in February.

Yes. I think the coaches will be willing to wait on most.

Will be interesting to see for sure. I'm of the mind that anyone committed will sign, or they are not fully committed and thus their spot is available. I think that much higher than 50% will sign early, both here, and everywhere.
But this is new ground for sure.
If we were waiting, we'd be taking a lot less commitments. Mac doesn't decommit on kids unless they don't hold up their part of the bargain.
