1st off Dusty Dvorecek was kicked off the team by the coaching staff, The only way he was allowed back on the team is that EVERY player had to agree to allow him back. One no vote cancelled it out.
Poor work ethic, overweight, out of shape and such when he came back in the summer. Then is took him 6-7 games to really start playing to his level.
i think that is rather short sighted. dvoracek appears to be the exception rather than the rule. stoops has cleaned house and has been far more severe with consequences than the lincoln regime has.
bomar? jd quinn? gone. how severe was the consequence for your problem children?
there are a limited number of teams whose staff bring the hammer as quickly as stoops has. the huskers aren't one of them. maybe bo peep will change that - the jury is not out yet. until then, it really would be wise to not criticise others.

I don't think you'll find any criticism in that post. The Sooners have always been my 2nd favorite college football team. My aunt and uncle both worked for OU before they retired in the 80's.
