Air Force September 14

FWIW: As pointed out, the series w/AF was halted in large part because of the way in which a good number of CU folks treated AF and it's cadets during the Vietnam era. Spitting, cursing, throwing beer. I was at all the home games and know that's true. This is one school and team we need to give a warm welcome (but, once the game starts...)

Bah. Paying for the sins of your grandparents isn’t necessary. DBT was only in middle age back then.

Agreed. AFA deserves as warm welcome by our fans, expecially to those older AFA fans. Then of course, CU needs to kick butt and win the game. This is an opportunity for CU fans to demonstrate their excellence.

SOMEBODY NOT TROOFUL: Pro scouting website lists AFA DBs as: 5'8"/185; 5'9"/165; 6'1"/187 and 6'0"/186 !

Where does Colonel Lite get off listing AFA as pro-sized defensive backfield? Maybe he's mistook ATLANTA Falcons for AFA falcons???
As someone who is acerbic to a fault, I can tell you your style of communication is unnecessarily horrible. Relax.

False. I support all those actions on gameday. However, it has to be for the right reasons.

Hmmm, I was born on an Air Force base and lived on or near them for 18 years. I know a ****load of AF officers. I wouldn't generalize any of them.
They are good at grudges. They have no appreciation of sending a newbie out to take the post flag down an hour early.

Sewart AFB, TN (now closed); Myrtle Beach, SC (now closed); Laughlin AFB, Tx; Ramstein AFB, W.Ger.; Holloman AFB, NM--among others.

Ah. I wasn't an air force kid (Dad got out before I was born) but grew up surrounded by a few bases in Florida. Wondered if we had any mutual background.

There are certainly a percentage of hard-asses among them. These are probably the types that end up at the Academy, come to think of it. There's also a percentage that just want to fly hot planes and could give a **** about much else.

So ready for this game that I had to order Sling (40% off right now and should be good for three months)
