Bey's Gone

been waiting for the Nuggets to draft (or even trade for) a Buffalo for years now...we could need a local star but I dont see the fit of Tyler on the Nuggets this year... small ball 5 but i then we already have Bol Bol and I think the Nuggets will bring back Millsap for 7-9 mil to play some backup C... as for the PF spot, we're already packed and should adress other weaknesses, which is clearly a light out shooter... tho i like his toughness and defense upside.... ah **** it, just draft him already

Tyler's going to be Grant with some rim protection. I actually see a fit, but I don't see him having a near-term path to the starting lineup with the Nugs. I'll worry if a team like Utah gets him, though. I believe Bey will be a good pro. Maybe a more athletic version of Shane Battier once his game & shot matures.

Anyway, there's always room on a roster for an athletic glue guy who can knock down wide open shots.

Assuming he makes it to the NBA, it will be one of those “yo-yo” progressions kind of like Spencer’s.

Wow! Almost 12’-6” reach off a running jump and just shy of 12’ from a standing jump. That’s 2’ + above the rim. Crazy.

ESPN+ article showing Bey going to the Kings with the 35th pick in its mock draft.
will ferrell dont GIF

He's an elite defender and rebounder with great length. He's not even close to being an elite scorer. Maybe I'm completely out of touch with what the NBA values these days, but that feels a lot like an NBA role player to me, not a 1st round pick.
Damn, I should be an NBA scout.
