USC ALMOST A Game Thread - Covid Cancelled

I drive my wife's old 2009 Volvo XC90 with 156,000 miles on it. I'd hate to know what Not Sure thinks about me.

Anyone who owns a car is a douchebag to me!

I will not rest until we have kicked their asses over a sustained period of time AND Allbuffs has an thread with over 400 pages tiled "Official *SC Hate Thread"

Until that happens I have no joy.
I grew up in So Cal, hate sc almost as much as that other red team

Hoping the U$C game is at anytime slot besides after dark. I figure since we will be 2-0 and hopefully usc will be 3-0 it will be a 3p est kick

Our buffs are pretty dang good. Those wins were not flukes
I missed most games last week as I was visiting family, but finally got to watch the UCLA/Cal game the other night and that really opened my eyes. I still have concerns with this team and it could all come crashing down, but I feel pretty confident this offense will be top half of the conference.

Of course you do.
Pretty typical for me.

I don't care that much. My car was a Volt. My wife's commute lengthened in 2016 when we moved and she wanted the Volt, but told me I couldn't sell the Volvo. At that time, the car was probably worth around $10k. Now, it's probably worth $4k but it runs well. I'd prefer a car that doesn't use as much fuel, and isn't exclusively driven by soccer moms except for me, but I don't care that much and it's a really cheap drive right now.

If the shoe fits, wear it, right? I have a 2012 Caliber with about 80k miles on it that does fine for me. Telecommuted for three years and I'm starting a grad program that's all virtual even after this winter so I really only drive when I want to lol.

September 14, 2002: The day the music died.

Buffs had been in decline, and then we have a Cinderella season in 2001 where we almost sneak into the National Championship.

We opened the season ranked #7 but we lose to an unranked CSU team in the opener at Invesco (**** the Rocky Mountain Showdown). Carson Palmer and USC come into town for the third game of the season. By week 3, we were #18 and USC was ranked #17. It should have been a competitive game. I was so fired up for that game. Had awesome seats. And we lost 40-3. At home. A game I thought we would win wasn't even competitive.

Having a hard time imagining a hot nanny in a bikini getting out of that thing with you driving.

Going to have to step up your game
Given how obvious it was that the Nanny was hot for Hank, seeing what he drives makes it all so much more impressive!

I agree. The success looks sustainable. It isn’t dependent on big plays

First of all, you need to hate more than one team in your conference. It's stupid to save your hate for one team. It's fine to have a rival, but that's no reason to be okay with other schools who are hate-worthy.

Case in point: The Big 8 had multiple hateable teams. The Nubs, duh. Landthieves, duh. Missouri was eminently hateable, the whining ****wads. I hate them still. KjSU proved themselves hateable with their illiterate players and smarmy coach. KU was obviously loathsome in basketball.

The Big 12 gave us UTerus and ****bailer.

Now, we're talking about only U$C? Nay, nay. Oregon, with Uncle Phil's money, all that flashy crap, and their bandwagon fans? **** them. ASU, UW, and UCLA - all hateable.

ASU is very hateable.
