Yeah, Nebraska pulled a freak of nature. That kid is awesome.
He said some exciting things about CU, but he was a homer. Can’t do much about that.

So not only is CU not able to compete in that arena, Prime doesn't want to be in that arena. He has said it from day one, "NFL not NIL", and if you think he's just saying that without truly believing it, you haven't been paying attention to who he is and what he's about.

He will teach kids how to capitalize on their worth and there will be some NIL deals in place for recruits and transfers, but he isn't going to buy 18 year old kids who haven't proven a damn thing at the collegiate level.

Nobody? “want those that want to play here, for Coach Prime, over those simply looking for $$$$” (sorry Sheldon). There’s probably a lot of overlap in those two groups. Let’s not act like prime wouldn’t be in that NIL arena if offered a job in the next few years at one of those big NIL schools. Or like he wouldn’t take one of those jobs over ours if offered at the same time. Any coach would

I paraphrased poorly. However, a lot of these kids have to go to the money first considering how they grew up and where they’re from. Kids like arch manning chasing the bag? Totally see your point of view

Very true, and I do get that, and I do not blame the ones that are aiming for that. You gotta do what you gotta do for your family, and I would never knock anyone for that, damn sure not a 17-19 year old.
 
Prime has said all among its not about the NIL, it’s about the NFL.
Hopefully this is what’s bringing the recruits. It’s more sustainable.
