I hate to say this, but this game reminds me of the OU/CU game last year. At least the perception of the game leading into it. Mizzery will be a huge favorite, on the road in a conference game against a team that is looking for redemption.
As much as I'd love to see a good old fashioned ass whoopin put on the pink skirts, I think this game will be close.

Mizzou hasn't beat NU in Lincoln since 1978. That's a long freaking time. NU is a tough place to play, even when you do have a really good team.
I think Mizzou rolls, but this is their first real road test this year. If NU wins it'll be close. Prediction MU 35 NU 14. Mizzou won't run too much and they'll expose some glaring weaknesses though.

I think this will end up being score fest (like the TT vs OSU game last year).
Mizzou's O is great but their D sucks. It seems like their strategy is "we're not going to stop you, we're just going to score faster". Their O will put up a bunch of points on the pink shirts without much of a challenge but I think Mizzou's starting D will allow the fuskers and shortbus enough early success to think they can keep pace with Chase & Co. With 5 min left in the 3rd the fuskers will just run out of steam and Mizzou will pull away. No one on the fusker D will be getting their coveted pink shirt for this Saturday's performance. :thumbsup:

Isn't that the goal for every defense every week? Look let's be honest here, they are going to score and score big. I will be surprised if we don't lose by more than 17 points. Having said that we have nothing to lose so just let everthing hang out and try and keep up with them is all we can do. Besides OU this will be the best team we face this season so we have nothing to lose.

In this article Pellini said their goal was to try to shut them out. I think MU will score at least 40 against the pink shirts, and send their fans home early.

I believe that every Big 12 team at home has a better then decent chance at beating anyone they play. Now with that said there are three outstanding teams this year in the conference and I will be surprised if all of them are still not undefeated in time for the Red River game. The three best quarterbacks in the nation may be the QB's from UT, OU, and Mizzou.
