Official Michigan State/Mel Tucker Hate Thread

Haha you really think that I need to prove myself to some rando on allbuffs…you’re actually sadder than I thought!

Believe me…don’t believe me, you think I give a ****!! :ROFLMAO:
Proof is in the puddin darlin. Please, tell me more about your theoretical win rate because you care so little. You do remind me of this legal assistant I knew in Pueblo.

Haha alright, our little bitchfight has nothing to do with rest of these posters, so how about this Mr. LawyerMan, if Tucker loses any of his cases, I’ll deactivate my account and will never post on allbuffs again.

But if the accuser/MSU loses or there’s a settlement, then you deactivate yours and never post here again.

Let’s see who knows their ****!

Your reading comprehension needs some help. Where did I take any side on the various possible legal outcomes of this situation? Only thing I've done is point out you are dishonest. Best of luck with the win rate!

Haha wow…talking **** without even taking a position…you’re so ****ing brave!!

No balls, bud! No balls!! You sure you’re a lawyer!? :ROFLMAO:

I just want to gloat in Midnight Mel's downfall, but then I visit this thread and find a bunch of ****wits revealing their hatred of women
Making sure that accusations are proven correct is not a hatred of women…you making that connection speaks more about yourself than anything else!

If we’re going to play Wild Guesses mine are:

MSU settles with Tucker for $19MM.
MSU settles with Brenda Tracy for $2MM.
Tucker settles her separate suit against him for $1MM, and he then hires the best divorce lawyer in Michigan.

*Settlements with Ms Tracy are based on an assumption that the consent issue and other issues regarding her relationship w/Tucker remain murky enough that the parties do actually settle.

**We might never know the monetary amounts of the MSU settlements unless Michigan law requires public disclosure.

***These are Wild Guesses and I’m not a lawyer, good, bad, or indifferent.

Epilogue:

After the suits settle Brenda Tracy appears as a guest on The View and on Good Morning America to discuss the issues of relational respect and sexual safety in college athletics. She later divides her time as a popular lecture circuit speaker with a successful second career in real estate sales.

Mel Tucker discovers a deep appreciation of a vague new motivational Christianity and writes an “as told to” book called “Revelation and Rejuvenation: My Story of Redemption”. The book sells 1,043 copies and does not have a second printing. Three years later he reappears as a Senior Recruiting Analyst at a school in the Sun Belt Conference. He also owns five high performing Dairy Queen franchises in east Texas through his LLC “Godly Flavors”. Odd connection: One of his part time high school employees in the Lufkin store, D. Lee Barr, 15, later goes on to football stardom as a Wisconsin RB and Doak Walker Award winner.

The new MSU football coach is a coordinator from a major P5 program. He goes 14-23 in three years and is fired after a final 6-7 season capped with a 56-10 loss to Mississippi in the Music City Bowl. The new AD: “Our road to success is a challenging one at first but we’re determined to get this right.” He uses hair dye.

You can set your watch to it!

I'm starting to think that this thread doesn't belong on the football board.

It's too damn difficult to toe the line of balancing "innocent until proven guilty" with "believe women when they come forward" in a way that no one says anything that looks like it violates either of those things.

Then you have people who rush to judgment or who attack the credibility of the accuser. Frankly, it's better a lot of times if we don't have to know those opinions because it makes it damn difficult to bond as fans, which is the entire fvcking reason this board exists.
See, there you go being all mature and reasonable again.

On the surface, I think a lot of people have that reaction.

But I think that when you learn that the situation was allegedly someone talking dirty to someone who didn't encourage or want that, then masturbating, that's something that could cause someone to freeze up and feel traumatized. Particularly if the person on the other end of the call is a rape survivor and the talker/tugger knew that, was previously supportive, and then violated trust in this way.

In context and upon reflection, that label makes perfect sense to me.
I’m not taking about this case in particular, just the way he was phrasing it, sorta sounded like Saturday night live (maybe something darker) skit.

As a side not, about this case, I thought the dirty phone conversations happened on more than one occasion.

It seems like it might be hard
to stay aroused (with a 55 yr old libido that isn’t quite what it once was) masturbating on a phone call with a person that is not participating or showing any interest in partIcipating.

Unless he gets off on exactly that.

Since this is anonymous, I tell my critics this: I moved from Colorado 18 months ago, leaving behind a decent 3 bedroom house. For more than a year, the house has been occupied, rent free, by a survivor of repeated rapes, who cannot worky and would otherwise be homeless. I put my money, where my mouth is.
I continue to doubt the story of the accuser here

The experience we had as CU fans from 2020 doesn’t make me have any love for MSU, but they gotta beat Nebraska when they play later this fall.

This situation seems pretty simple. Mel Tugger is a POS for making moves on another woman while he is married. That isn't really disputable.

What is in dispute is whether the accuser is culpable here or not. Maybe she is as pure as can be, and she was totally victimized by Tugger. That is possible, and if true would make Tugger an even bigger POS than he already is.

But there are some other possibilities that should be considered before rendering judgement about her. Those that fail to even consider those possibilities are virtue signaling.

Yeah let’s just bury the guy and pretend that false accusations never happen.

If Tucker is proven guilty in a court of law or pleads guilty then yeah…throw the ****ing book at him!!

Otherwise, I thought one of America’s greatest freedoms is that you’re innocent until proven guilty.

Or are we just doing things like banana republics and presuming people are guilty until they’re proven innocent?
Whatever. Tugger can go through the legal process and argue his case if he chooses. He and MSU deserve each other.

One thing, according to Tugger he and his wife are/were estranged at the time. So, apparently, his wife dumped his sorry ass.
