Hillsdale College is a private, conservative, Christian liberal arts college in Hillsdale, Michigan. It was founded in 1844 by members of the Free Will Baptists.
That explains pretty much everything.

Apparently not their female student population.
Hillsdale is a very strange school, even as conservative Christian schools go.
They from almost the start admitted Black and women students making them one of the first in the nation to do so.
Fast forward to now and they refuse federal grants and guaranteed student loans because they refuse to submit title IX data.
And they have fully funded women's sports teams, it is more some paranoia about the government seeing their records.
Free willies?
I look forward to when this Mel Tucker thread fades away.

I think I've mentioned the dad from my kid's school who proudly to this day wears MSU gear, dresses his kids in it, has MSU stickers on his car, etc...
Saw that dude today and was so tempted to say, "Can't be anybody in country more happy about this Harbaugh stuff than you guys, right?"

My kid's school is one of the last places on the planet where they still think I'm a normal person. I don't want to risk it.

Michigan State AD Alan Haller said he wanted to separate former coach Mel Tucker from the football team months before the 2023 season began, but the school's administration prevented him from doing so, sources told ESPN.
Smart to get that out there without commenting himself. CYA on being accused of being responsible for inaction and also being accused of throwing his bosses under the bus. Very well played.

Poach a 5-7 first year HC from CU in a relatively soft period of PAC12 conference play. That suspect recruiting staff “quirks” made the AD quickly 86 the recruiting coordinator team soon after the redeye flight left for East Trashcan.
Then after one lightning in a bottle season, you back up the BRINKS truck to keep this coach from leaving. After a terrible outcome the very next season…and a shaky start to this season, he is fired for cause after their true colors are shown.
Now there is this?!
