advanced stats for weight room. I’ll trust my eyes instead.
Looks like Omarion Miller had a fantastic spring and summer.

It’s an improvement. He will look bigger/faster/stronger. That’s good. Will it translate to performance? I’ll wait to see.Power Clean up 30%
Bench Press up 20+%
Squat up 12%
I don't need eyes vs. advanced metrics to know that's a serious improvement.
Was that ever anyone’s assertion around that post, or was it just pointing out the physical strides he’s made this offseason? It’s an improvement. He will look bigger/faster/stronger. That’s good. Will it translate to performance? I’ll wait to see.
No one puts Hawg in the cornerThey tried to bamboozle Hawg, but no one bamboozles Hawg!
Doesn't mean he has gotten better at football but it does mean he is working his tail off. Usually this kind of effort translates into efforts in other areas as well.Power Clean up 30%

Travis Hunter and Shilo Sanders are not on this list, what are the parameters for inclusion?
12 CU Buffs made the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 player watchlist.
Last year for the Reese’s preseason senior bowl watchlist, we only had 5 players make it. McLendon, Gant, Lichtenhan, Shilo, and Weaver.
I'm expecting big things from him now that we are generally moving away from choice routes.FFS we already know Omarion Miller is a really good football player. He's shown it. He has gotten bigger, faster and stronger since then.
It’s usually for Seniors, I think.Travis Hunter and Shilo Sanders are not on this list, what are the parameters for inclusion?
They opened it up for underclassmen for the first time this year, so I wonder if Hunter not being on the list is just a mistake using the old eligibility rules? Shilo is a Graduate so I assume that's why he's not on the list. It’s usually for Seniors, I think.
Aren't they rolling with 7 WR's, LG, C, RG and QB. Spread offense
I said I’d wait, that’s all. Maybe it translates to a bigger, faster receiver who can get off the line and get open. I’ll look forward to seeing his contributions. Was that ever anyone’s assertion around that post, or was it just pointing out the physical strides he’s made this offseason?
Exactly. We should wait and see.Doesn't mean he has gotten better at football but it does mean he is working his tail off. Usually this kind of effort translates into efforts in other areas as well.
How many catches you think he has this year? Not trying to argue. Just wondering. WR room is crowded.FFS we already know Omarion Miller is a really good football player. He's shown it. He has gotten bigger, faster and stronger since then.
Walter Taylor will never see the field as QB1 or even QB2 at CU.Anything is possible. Definitely, multi-WR sets. In running downs/short yardage they may just add a lineman--like they did some last season. They could run some pistol or maybe utilize an H-back set of sorts--I heard rumblings of Pearson being a guy for a H-Back type of position. Smalls is bigger but has great ball skills (was an WR in HS) and might be able to run that. Also, perhaps Walter Taylor 6'5" 235 gets a role, in his Vandy highlights he runs hard. He has been slotted the 3rd string QB, and I imagine they had something in mind with his transfer rather than QB1 once Shedeur leaves.
Walter Taylor feels like a guy that could blow up as a TE, been wondering hard about why he has not switched to it yetWalter Taylor will never see the field as QB1 or even QB2 at CU.
I really cannot wait for football to start (both college and pro). Have to study up on the Buffs as we have so many new guys. A lot different from the old days when you usually had a handful of new starters.
