How in the hell is nebraska a 1.5 pt favorite?
 
The teams are one game aprt on their records, and it's in Lincoln. That would be my guess, didn't take me long to come up with.:smile2:

I understand it's in Lincoln but at least KU kind of hung in there with Oklahoma. OU could have beat NU by 100 last week. KU beat nebraska 76-39 last year. :confused:

NU also nearly beat TT, who beat the chit out of Kansas. The picture can get real distorted when you start comparing opponents.

I forgot about the TT-KU game. Good point. But looking at the overall body of work - this line seems off to me.
 
It's easy. BOTH teams are not consistant. They both show flashes of being a good team but then they also **** the bed from time to time as well.
 
I believe Kansas opened up at a -1 to -1.5 favorite...money must have been pretty heavy on Nebraska.
 
Yeah they did but until they can play consistant, I am not holding my breath for a 8-4 record just yet. I predicted we go 7-5 this year but our D really played well today. I gotta say though, MAN Todd Reesing is a GAMER!
 
The Husker Defense today looked as good as it has all year. They have some issues that need worked on, but they are making improvements each and every week.

The Huser Offense got the job done in a fine fashion all considering. They may even found a new fullback, who knows!

One thing about this team, THEY NEVER GIVE UP!

That was the best the D line looked all year. the team needs to stay very focused these next two games and take care of their business.

I'm not gonna blow any sunshine Surveyor. In fact, **** you, just to make that point all the more clearer.

The last final score between these two teams showed the Buffs on top, so you're right, utnil there's a new score CU's got bragging rights. So I'm gonna take advantage of those rights while we still have them (you know, considering how much I contributed to the win and all).

If for some reason--God forbid--the scoreboard favors your huskers, when the dust settles at the end of this year's game, and the bragging rights are transferred to the evil, self-indulgent fans of nebraska, then I will still refuse to take my lumps and instead find solace in the knowledge that I'm not from the God-forsaken wind-swept prairie, where nearly every damn thing sucks. Anyway, that's my plan. Go Buffs!

Looks like either way you are going to be disillusioned for quite some time.

If the Buffs win, you will feel your season was a success (which it won't be).

If the Buffs lose, you will continue to be the evil, self-indulgent Colorado fan, AND you will find solace in the knowledge that you are not from the God-forsaken wind-swept prairie, where nearly every damn thing sucks (interesting description considering pretty much the entire eastern 1/3 of Colorado is just as you describe).

Damn that felt good to talk smack with a Buff fan for a change! It's about 13 days until game time. Let's get it on!

1. Boulder isn't in that part of Colorado.

2. The season has held it's share of disappointments, but the big-picture of the CU program is for the CU fans to consider. When it comes to smack between the fans of two teams, the ONLY thing that matters is the scoreboard between those two teams. Where you and I are concerned, the nebraska game has nothing to do with the state of the CU program or our season as a whole. You muddy the waters by bring apples into a discussion regarding oranges.

A nebraska fan talking about Boulder being a wind swept prairie is funny. Apparently they are unable to look above the 0 degree angle of a horizon. Granted, you never need to do that in Nebraska where they live in mud huts and the most interesting thing is which of their cousins is banging their girlfriends that night, but still, worst smack talk EVER.

We all understand that about the eastern 1/3 of our state, but we are also smart enough to realize that Boulder is not there and Lincoln is located in a God-forsaken prairie. NU is located in ****-hole, CU is not.

Colorado is prime rib, nebraska is SPAM. You'll win this years game in lincoln and hordes of flamers like yourself will go onto buff sites and troll away.

Unlike your fuskerpedia site, which shuts down after a loss, making people pay 20 bucks for that slobber fest is hilarious. I wonder if we made our sites 20 bucks if you would still post?

Now, csuhusker,big red iowan and waylon van smack have been around awhile,your the same dip**** I thought you were over at pedia bashing cu.
