CU football recruiting hot board (offense)

A couple of observations from the hot board -- it looks like 5 Colorado kids currently have offers on the offensive side of the ball. 2 of them are tight ends -- and there are a lot of tight end offers currently out. Third, given that QBs commit so early in the recruiting process, it'll be a long shot for the Buffs to add a highly ranked QB to the next (2026) class, which is understandable given the Julian Lewis commitment and enrollment.

Dude, whoever you are, (welcome to the board).
I haven't even committed to my season tickets for 2025. There's no "hot board" for 2026!
This isn't 2012. Wake me up after CP has signed the extension!

Regarding recruiiting:

Based on comments from a couple of sources, I expect CU to have more freshmen in this year's class than they've had in the prior 2 seasons (expect 20+ freshmen). Thus, I expect high school recruiting to be more important this year than it has been in the prior few years. CU is in on a number of high profile defensive backs, so I expect good results there.

Mod edit: nope

Hey man. Before you get banned, a word of advice. If you want to promote your own CU football blog on this CU specific blog, I would start by paying the $20/year to become a member on this site. Second, instead of dropping a fairly uninteresting piece of information/opinion and then posting your blog's link, maybe just put your blog's link in your signature and actually contribute to this site with more than a teaser for your own.

Or not. Whatever.

Will do.
I've always thought of this site as a message board (vs. blog), and that folks would think some of the info on the blog that pertains to topics on the message board would be interesting. I've gotten upvoted regularly with my posts --- but if I've totally read the room wrong, my bad. I'll not post. I'm not trying to piss off anyone.

It's not my site, so I'm not here to tell you what you can and can't post (personally, I'm all for more Buff content from fans who want to try to take advantage of this window of national exposure and interest in CU's football program), but I think you will get more interaction if you also become a contributing member here.

If you become a member, you will gain access to a premium section where "insider" info gets posted and speculated/pontificated on. Some of what you share here are things already being discussed in that section and it'd be great to have another contributor there. Totally understand the difference in blog vs message board and there are probably folks here who would read your blog, especially if you have nuggets that don't post here.

Just click the "Support AllBuffs" tab at the top and spend the $20. It will also get rid of all the ads you probably get that make this site unusable.

AB is an aggregator, not a content creator. Other than discussion of topics. So linking to content isn't the issue. It's more that it needs to be interactive so that you're actually participating in this community and having a conversation here while dropping your link. Otherwise, it's going to be received as, "This guy I don't know keeps spamming threads with drive-by link drops to try to drive traffic to his site." Mostly a give some to get some type thing.

Where is this coming from? Have they had practices yet?

Last year, Colorado reeled in 4 star edge London Merritt, who is already drawing whispers that he may be a difference maker this upcoming season.

Some of the freshmen were able to attend and participate in bowl practices. Otherwise, "whispers" often come from watching guys in workouts. FYI, I've heard from multiple sources that Alexander McPherson (freshman DL) is going to substantially outperform his recruiting rankings and that he'll play a lot -- this year.

Did someone say ban?

Yeah, don't be an Adam ;-)

New version 2.0 of football offensive recruiting hot board is up. CU is in on a lot of players early, and I think this should be a top 25 high school recruiting class.
