Ladies and gentlemen, the Prime effect

I feel attacked, as my non-allbuffs age is approaching my jersey number. But please feel free to explain the reference.
Ain't we all 35?

But he was a Chicago drill rapper who was a notorious criminal and killer in the South Side who got got in 2020 by Quando Rando's gang. Most of his songs were about his murders and gang activity.

Great gym music.

We are all 35 in HERE. But out there, in what “THEY”call reality…not so much.

But I do appreciate the new learning. Thank you.

Gotta put this to bed, pay him now, seems so odd it has not happened

I recall Coach Prime talking about waiting until after the third year to consider an extension. That itself is odd but he's certainly betting on himself to get the extension without his son as the QB.

I'm not that familiar with the process. I'd assume ADRG got the necessary approvals prior to putting a contract in front of Sanders to sign, but who knows.
My read is a contract has not been signed. I am worried RG has already alienated Prime, as he has done with every prior coach. He does not like to be challenged, and Prime would challenge any AD.

My read on the previous coaches was that the conflict was between the coach and the school’s policies, not between the coach and Rick George.

A Colorado three-peat under Deion Sanders would be one of the wildest stories in college football history. If that happens, he’d go from a transformative figure to arguably the greatest coach in modern CFB.

For that to become a reality, a few things need to align:

Path to a Colorado Dynasty (2026-2028)

  1. Elite Recruiting and Development – They’d need top-5 recruiting classes for multiple years, especially in the trenches. Right now, they’re flashy at skill positions, but Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan dominate in the trenches.
  2. Big 12 Dominance – Winning the conference every year would need to be automatic. If they’re consistently in the 12-team playoff, they’ll always have a shot.
  3. QB Continuity – Shedeur Sanders can get them rolling, but after him, they’ll need elite replacements year after year (think Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State).
  4. Defensive Transformation – Right now, the defense isn’t championship-caliber. They’d need SEC/B1G-level front-seven dominance.
  5. Deion Stays – If Sanders stays committed long-term, recruits will keep coming. If he jumps to the NFL or another school, the dynasty idea dies.

Realistic Outcome?

A playoff run? Very possible. A national title? Maybe, in the right year. A three-peat? That’s entering Alabama/USC dynasty territory, and Colorado has a long way to go.

But if Deion actually pulls it off? It would be one of the greatest stories in sports history. Do you think they’ll get there that fast, or is this more of a long-term project?

TIL that Kelly Clarkson has a talk show. Getting my oil changed and while waiting during the service, J heard Coach Prime's voice coming from the tv. Apparently she had him on as a guest. Cool.

At first I was like, what sort of sicko masturbates to Kelly Clarkson's talk show, and then I learned that Coach Prime was the guest and it made more sense.
