Shedeur Sanders - 2023-25 Tracking History Thread

All publicity is good publicity… I was once told.

I'm not sure of your point? are you defending Tua? If so, then to your point, Tua is a good QB but his health is a major liability. . . maybe I am just slow and misreading your post.
Well, the post I was replying to suggested that ‘the Dolphins would be wise to draft a QB’ without saying they should draft SS. To which I tongue in cheek gave the reply you quoted I was implying that it doesnt go well for most of the QBs the Dolphins have had, drafted or not. Including Tua. And a Marino that lost his one and only SB appearance. There have been so many between Marino and Tua that Ive lost track.

I hate that this plays into the prime hater narrative.

I feel a sense of some unease.

Chad Brown, Westbrook, Darian, EB, Figures, kordell, and many more—- this maybe points to why waiting to retire the number maybe makes sense. I mean heisman = auto retire… but other guys?

If Milroe gets drafted before Shedeur then we really have a problem
It’s already reached that point but Milroe going ahead of him would just solidify that this was all rigged against him to make a statement about no individual being bigger than an organization/league. Shedeur as a top 15 pick represented the biggest threat to having a single player become bigger than an organization in the new era of brand building

If he doesn’t get picked by the Steelers at 83, is there any chance that he goes undrafted?..
I dont think he goes undrafted. I do think there is becoming a real risk that he…
A. gets picked up to be a back up to a unicorn, is deemed a project, and *maybe* an aire apparent if he does well.
B. he is drafted into a crowded QB situation on a bad team.
C. He doesnt survive preseason if he goes too low.

I don’t think that’s very realistic. Much more likely that one of the teams mentioned as a good fit (Browns, Raiders, Jets, even Giants and Saints) would draft him using a later pick and be thrilled at the upside/risk-free selection.
