I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I came to the conclusion that basketball, as a sport, sucks balls. Once I came to that realization, march madness lost much of it's luster. Just guessing...but that is your problem...March Madness when filling out a bracket is incredibly exciting....just watching the games with noone to really cheer for, not so much

I hit this same place several years ago - after previously winning the pool before the final game was played. Now I couldn't tell you 5 of the top 10 teams, and I don't really care.

Filling out a bracket w/o knowing anything about the teams would not improve the experience.

The only sport in the world that rivals the pageantry and crowd intensity of college football is European soccer. Check out the English Premier League Saturdays on Fox Soccer Channel - if you get hooked, it's the only way to bridge the football off-season.

Man, I sure hope I never get to that point as far as March madness is concerned because this is by far my favorite time of the year outside of the September-November time frame. Granted, I watch a less regular season college b-ball than I used to, but even so I continue to look forward to Selection Sunday and the tournament every year.

AMEN....this tourny has been great...the Siena/OSU, FSU/Wisc. games last night were awesome...W.Kentucky & Gonzaga was amazing tonight as well (Mendez-Valdez was :wow: good)...Portland State...this stuff is awesome to watch

That's what I would have said a few years ago. Now I watch soccer over NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL (sports I breathed for decades until they so overtly went into decline) - everything except college football. I won't try to convert you, but you obviously haven't given it a try.
