Doesn't that hit some CU fans in the gut with just words? We could have been dealing with another major embarrassment to the CU football program with a punch like that.

It's more relief than a gut punch to me. The Oregon program is just devasted right now, as their dirty laundry is out there for everyone to see. If that was a Buff (say, Katoa, in an alternate dimension where he was eligible then went nuts like that), any good will we had earned since "the scandal" would take a few steps back, at least.

Don't know... I don't follow OU much.... some, but not like CU. :huh:
He won't be showing up anywhere but a JC anytime soon.
It's going to be tough for him now to ever make it back into D-1. He started his eligibility clock when he reported for spring semester at CU. If I am not mistaken by the time he left the program he was already into his second year on the clock. It will probably take him at least two full years at a JC to get himself back to adequete academic progress towards a degree to be eligible. That means that he may only be eligible for one additional year of D-1 ball, that assuming that he gets his act together in the classroom and off the field which is not something that is a guarantee.
He may be better served by going to the UFL or Canada and playing than trying to be a college student.
Well, school isn't for everyone. But it just makes me sooo mad when someone like him just gives up. He has so much athletic talent and hopefully he isn't throwing it away. Live your life with no regrets.

A former CU AD employee told me he a has a real attitude, with a smart-a** mouth to match!
Back-talking to coachs and team-mates, even those who are friends, is no way to go through life, son. Apparently no one was really sorry to see him leave, just sorry he was wasting his talents.
As my old mentor once said, "Of all the stuff that you're faced with in life, the only thing you can truly control is your attitude."
