The game was OVER. Toledo got tired of scoring and cu made it look somewhat respectable yipee. The defense is awful but early on,the offense pi$$ed away many chances to get td's, especially overthrowing 2 wide open td passes.
It's a mess.

Ron Collins has been a roblem for 4 years. Hawkins hans't done anything about it. The buck stops at Hawkins.

Its year 4 now...Thats on the staff...I know **** hasn't worked out with so many of our top recruits, again on the staff.
Cabral should be DC anyway, at least he has passion.
IF the offense ever actually gets to do what they want, run the ****ing ball, we'd be fine. Could run and then get passes when its a good situation. Not HAVE to throw it 60 yards because qb draws are sure fire td's for our "defense".

It is not like Collins has all of a sudden just had issues. He has not been good for four years. Hawk has done nothing. That falls on him.
Plus, as I mentioned above, the team just sleepwalks through games. How is that not on the head coach? Holy ****, I cannot believe anyone would argue that Hawk is not a problem at this point.:wow:

Collins needs to go, as well as Brandison. On offense it really would have been awesome if Hawk hired someone to actually coach WRs, but I suppose he's doing a great job there. I honestly don't want to see Hawk get another go at it, though. Losing to CSU, Montana State, Toledo, his record vs the Big-12 N, his road record. It's all pathetic and absolutely deserves firing.
Oh, I'm not. Its the fact that we cant ever establish our identity (running) because we're down before we blink (defense).

It is what it is.. I didn't say that I'm excusing Hawk for it but the lack of talent right is such a glaring hole that it completely outshines our lack of coaching..
This is the slowest CU team I have ever seen.. By far.
I admire your passion, but you're delusional. The offense ran the ball in the first half to the tune of 3 points. They ran the ball and weren't fine.

I get it, you are one of those people who would prop Hawkins up as a good coach if (or when) this team literally loses ever game it plays this year in an embarrassing fashion.
If you can't see at this point that this man is a horrible coach then you never will.
The only reason CU moved the ball in the second half is because garbage time started with 28 minutes left in the game.

The guy from Florida for HC, Bienimy for RB coach / Asst OC, Cabral for DC. hard assed CU lovin coaches who will do what it takes to make CU respectable again.

But whose fault is the lack of talent. Two weeks ago everyone was telling me the talent had been significantly upgraded. Toledo has more talent than CU? I don't believe it.
Oh, Im not begging for an extension or anything. im saying, given what he was handed to by Barnett, the man is doing ALOT of good (outside of w-l's) Im old school in that regard and want wins/losses, if not, I'd cheer for Standford or some ****. Dont get me wrong. Im saying the man has ZERO chance to establish an offensive identity because of the ****ing defense. We can be a damn good run team if we ever get a chance. Collins needs to go, OR Hawk needs to go if he wont do it.
As for coordinators, its not like he has a line waiting outside of Dal Ward for that one year bull**** job.

Just because Hawk had a couple of decent recruiting classes doesn't automatically mean we are just going to roll everyone. Most Top 25 programs aren't playing 4 underclassmen at the OL.. Our best LB is a former walk-on.. Our best WR is a former WR.. There is so many holes on this team its mind boggling.
Dude, the defense has been decent at times over the last four years. The offense has been consistently bad. To argue that the defense is the only thing holding us back now is just ignoring reality IMO. We pretty much suck across the board.

The defense has been good at the beginning of the season.. It got considerably worse as the season went on (because lack of depth).
Couldnt be further from the truth. I, probably more than anyone, demand wins. I'm a former college player and am RIDICULOUSLY competitive. I just have a different view of the job he took, Mac's start in year 4, and what the problem is. Our bitch's were get Scott the ball----check. Show some emotion----check. We didnt mention dont give up 700 ****ing yards of offense. Not sure the problem is Hawk. My 2 cents.
Pretty easy to rip the coach. Maybe he needs to be. Not sure we're there yet. Well, you guys are. Not sure I am. But, same people whos solution is to sell their tickets and ****. So, just a different breed I suppose.
