He wont play much IMHO, I may see a few snaps late in the 2nd half, but I just dont see him making a huge impact right away. Lets hope I am wrong though

Makes me a little nervous having a young DE come back early from a knee injury against an option team. I would be happier if they were a drop back team.

We're getting very little from whichever DE we play opposite Herrod. West is pretty good and brings athleticism and energy in spots, but he's not ready to be an every down guy. Kasa could change things dramatically for us and, well... um... damnit, I can't resist.

I thought Pericak would have made a better DE this season than DT.
Shields is a natural DT playing DE and not being effective as an edge-rusher.
I say switch the two of them up.
But if Kasa can get healthy he could give the pass rush a shot of adrenaline.
Burton would be a good situational edge rusher IMO.
Nothing better than burning a redshirt so we can give the guy limited playing time...:wow:

But Hawkins is great at it. When you are good at something, you do it. He's sticking to his guns.

The more I see Hawkins in action and the more I listen to him speak, the more baffled I become at how he instilled confidence in anyone, let alone enough confidence that someone actually believed he could be the HC at a school in a major conference.

I don't know about you or anyone else, but it's funny to think back to when he got hired how excited I was. WTF was I thinking.

I was not that excited. I thought he sounded good and then 2 games in I thought uh oh. After the 07 season I thought he was on his way. Since the oklahoma win, he's 12-17.
