According to rivals points system with the Jones Decommitment..
Forget what I said yesterday about going 8-4.. I really don't care anymore.:sad1:
I just want Talkins gone, Hagan gone, Riddle gone, Bohn gone, Benson gone, etc, etc, etc. Its time to move on..

I believe in the talent we'll have on this team next year. I just can't believe any more that this staff can turn that talent into wins. And the way this recruiting class is starting to look, it terrifies me to think where we might be in 2-3 years.... :sad1:
 welcome to a repeat depthchart wise of 2005-2009Exactly.. All we are doing by waiting is screwing the next coach..
Actually I take that back.. We had the worst recruiting class with Jones as a commit.. The update team rankings were from Dec 10.. It looks like we will be below CSU when the new one comes out..
No worries, everything is dandy..![]()
The scary thing is we still have to worry about Munchie de-committing as well. If that happens, the situation becomes really bad.
. OH. THEN it becomes really bad.
Hell, it is already really bad. It becomes dire then? I do not know, but I think is pretty amazing how we have managed to lose Spond and Jones after Hawkins was retained. How the hell does that happen? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
High school players, their coaches, and families aren't stupid. They know Hawkins is on his way out - it's just a matter of time. He's got absolutely nothing to sell a recruit.thats what I was trying to say :smile2:
thats the problem right there man. He is NOT on his way out. Just look at the standards put down by this administration. He is BACK next year with 6 wins. there could be others as well.
This is beyond depressing.
Will we even have 24 commits this year?

As I said about a week ago, you can throw out the 24 commits number IMO. We have 11 right now. I think we probably get one commitment out of the three visitors next weekend, so that would leave us at 12 heading into the dead period. That means it will take some serious work just to get to 20, especially considering three of our current commits are soft verbals at this time. It is going to be a small class.

I think that the best remaining commit is Hirschman and I hear that UofA is making a run at him.
