Holy cow! If you want to get fired up go over to their site and read the crap they post.

I don't know how some of you guys can spend so much time over there. The stupidity just hurts too bad. I believe they spend more time talking about the Buffs than we do here.

I've never understood why they dislike us so much. Isn't Wyoming their rival? We don't really compete for recruits. We don't really even compete for fans.

I would love to see CSU be a top 25 team year to year with Colorado. I think they wish Hillary Clinton would come to Boulder with a snuke in her snizz and blow the place up.

Lots of hatred. Wow. Enjoy your one game season CSU fans. 9 Days till the tard fight (sorry wally)
 
The inferiority complex is the one thing that somewhat unites CSU fans.

I think what pisses them off the most is that we don't hate them back.
 
Lil bro is always mad. There is nothing you can do about it. They are stuck at the kiddie table of CFB and know, even if by a miracle of miracles they do win, they return to irrelevancy for the next 364 days. Our problem is DH has been a member of the Miracle Network and let the Goats win a few throught his...ahem...coaching.
 
It is actually more comical than usual this year. The hating on CU's move to the Pac-10 has been hilarious. There are some genuinely good posters over there, some definitely flamers, and then there are some of the most delusional posters I have ever seen on a message board.
 
CSU98 actually seems like a knowledgeable person but he was about all I found today. Bless you guys for keeping it real over there.
 
61-20-2, and in one of our worst stretches ever they are still just 2-5 in the last 7 games against us. Good reason to hate right there.
 
They have been downright hilarious with the P10 stuff. Every single one of them would jizz themselves if CSU got a P10 invite. Yet they try to pretend it isn't a big deal and some have even gone so far as to say CU made a bad decision to leave the Mack 10.

They've also won 5 of the past 11 RMS matchups. Last year was their first win in Boulder since the mid-80s. This is, by far, the high water mark in the history of their program. It's why they're feeling so cocky even though they're on a 9 game losing streak and lost their other rivalry games last year (Wyoming and Air Force). For most CSU fans, they play a 1-game season and they've almost played us even recently.

If we want things to get back to normal, we need to win about 5 straight.
 
One of them posted that he has "inside knowledge" that the PAC10 had conversations with CSU about joining the conference. I cannot imagine any circumstance where the PAC 10 would want a team that averages 24k at home even with ticket prices about half the going major college rate and historically has drawn terrible TV ratings. They couldn't even sell 30k tickets for a visiting Cal team that was ranked #10 at the time.

Yah! a BCS conference just can't wait to share their revenues with a team that generates about 1/2 the revenues of their lowest team. They also can't wait to get a program that is so far below .500 over their history that they could go undefeated the next 20 years and still not break even.

I wonder if they confused the PAC10 with the Big Sky or the Great West?

They probably dialed the wrong number and once they realized it wasn't CU they hung up.
 
I used to not care either way about csu. As long as we won it was ok by me if they did well in their little conference.
However.... after spending some time dealing with many of the numb nuts over there (80's,Stalwart, 92Yankee and so forth)
I have developed a major distaste for anything csu & hope they all get genital warts. Nothing would be better than CU blowing out the lambs on Sept 4th along the lines of 40-7.... won't happen but one can hope

Did his "inside knowledge" include the fact that every one of those conversations ended with the Pac-10 saying "If you don't stop calling us, we're filing a restraining order"?

There are lunatic fringe/delusional elements on both sides. That is just the nature of any fan base (i.e. another Buff board that shall remain namless). While I do think most CSU fans are pretty realistic when it comes to the program - there certainly is a small/vocal element that does "just hate the Buffs."

Even so - I think most CSU fans would agree that this season is far from a 1 game season. Honestly, I would trade a win in the RMS this season for a win over either BYU, TCU, or Utah in a heartbeat. Especially after the sh!t BYU pulled this offseason.

CSquared is fine by me. Posters like BeerFight and 80s are the issue at Ramnation.

Random is pretty terrible as well. I have no idea where that guy comes up with some his "conspiracy" theories. At the end of the day you don't get to choose your "family" I guess. Some you love - some you would just love to kick out.

They don't want to leave the safety of their own place. The dynamic of being on someone else's board and having to defend yourself is far different than being on your board and getting to be part of the dogpile.

The first thing an unpaid intern asked was whether there were any Buddy Jones type regents at CSU who might stir trouble at the state house if CU moved from one BCS conference to another without bothering to invite CSU.

The answer was a very un-Okie lite, un-Kansas State no. And THEN the Pac-10 issued the restraining order.
