'10 MI RB Jeremy Langford (Signed to Michigan State)

Per Rivals: Committed to Michigan State. Visited Colorado in December, had not visited MSU yet.

Langford is planning to visit Michigan State sometime in January, most likely the weekend of the 15th.

\"With the attrition they have had at running back, I think he would have a chance to play earlier there now than he might have before,\" Swineheart said of Michigan State. \"And if he went there, he would be able to look up into the stands and see his grandmas, brothers, mom and dad. He is very close to his family.\"

Too bad there isn't a top running back available in Colorado who wants to say instate so his family can watch him play.

/sarcasm

Breaking news:

Dan Enos, the Michigan State running back coach who was responsible for recruiting Langford is among the final candidates to be the new Central Michigan Head Coach. There is some chatter that he may have gotten the job.

I don't know that this changes anything for Langford, but it may be a ray of hope. Stuff like this usually makes a recruit re-think his options a little bit.

Dan Enos got the Central Michigan job.

There is chatter that Jeremy actually preferred CU to MSU but that family pushed him to commit in-state. Maybe with the Spartans losing the RB coach who recruited Langford leaving...
