If you’ve read my private schools blog, I was thrilled to find out how to pronounce LaRone Richardson’s name earlier today, the running back for Bishop McGuinness.
Well, that same sense of accomplishment came tonight at Edmond North as I finally met Qua’Don Henderson. I still might call him “Q,” but at least I know how to actually say “Qua’Don” now.

Edmond North already had one explosive runner last year in Joe Aska Jr. But toward the latter part of the season, Qua’Don Henderson found his own groove, giving the Huskies one of the most potent one-two punches in the state.
I think Q played with Simon at Tulsa Union. Maybe Shaun could help swing him our way!
It's in my link above.I'll see if I can dig anything up, but I believe he's been at Edmond North the whole time.
He may not have the break-away, straight-line speed, but he runs hard. Seems to have a great sense of where the hole will be and hits it hard. Looks to be the kind of runner that would rather drop his shoulder and take on a defender.
edit - interesting that Rivals has his 1st 2 offers as Air Force and Navy. Pretty good indicator of his scholastic record so far.
http://blog.newsok.com/highschoolsports/2009/08/12/ed-north-quadon-henderson-ready-to-roll/Henderson is a story I plan on developing later in the season. He transferred from Union right around this time last year and admitted tonight that he wasn’t in any shape to play football.
Maybe for PT. But he didn't play last season.Oooops, missed the link. Odd that someone transferred from one of the Tulsa schools
