It's funny you mention that. This peckerwood at work said, "well, you got your wish, McIntyre got fired." Make a long story short, dude went off on how Mike was a great leader and how CU ****ed up firing him. It gets better, then he gave Mac credit for Phil's success and motivation. Needless to say, I was laughing my ass off by then.:D
 
I'm sure I'll always track the games to some degree, but we're back in Hawk/Embree territory in terms of my enjoyment of CU football. The future does seem brighter than it did during the worst parts of those eras, but as of right now, it's hard to imagine I won't consistently find something better to do most Saturdays. I planned my entire weekends around the 2016 season after the way we opened that season, but I slipped out of caring so much after the way that season ended, and the way 2017's team, from the very outset, seemed utterly bereft of the passion and leadership that made the 2016 team so fun to watch.
