Scout is reporting that Poston will be visiting this weekend for the Texas A&M game. All sites are now reporting that we have offered.

Other offers are from Kansas State, Baylor and Houston. CU is the only official visit Poston has scheduled at this point.

Comes from a decent program there in Houston. Really glad to see us making a push in the Houston area again.

This is a good pickup, but for it to be a successful DL class, we need three more verbals. We have two pretty decent DEs, time to add some tackles to the mix.

Funny thing is, earlier today I had written up a recruiting wish list for filling out this class and Poston was the first guy I thought of. Then I didn't post it because I was afraid I'd jinx things. Silly, I know. But now there's no way in hell that my wish list is seeing the light of day. :lol:

I haven't seen anyone mentioned. Considering it's d-line and Texas, the most likely recruiter would be Bandison.

He won't set the world on fire most likely, but hell, he seems like a damn solid kid. This is a depth class anyways. I hope Hawk does a good job keeping the cupboard from running on empty.

I don't get this... why give the kid a backhanded compliment when he's one of the few solid prospects out of Texas to commit to CU?
