'11 HI DE Juda Parker (Signed to Colorado)

Okay, we need some good news, it's obvious he is choosing cu,what's the big hush hush?

to piss you off...:smile2: nah as nik said he is going on a retreat starting tomorrow... i think it has to do waiting until he got home talking it over with his parents and not being able to use the cell phone while on the retreat

Hoping we find out some good news tomorrow. If we're lucky, something will leak tonight.

He did say he "probably" would announce today...but also implied it might wait til Wednesday. Still have a good feeling we'll get him.

Nothing has been right about his recruiting. The very early commit to Tennessee and then Tennessee dropping him for no apparent reason (Tenn is not full, especially for an SEC team), followed by a complete void of recruiting until very late in the game.

Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis DE Juda Parker has pushed back his announcement to signing day... Colorado is the heavy favorite to land him.

(Jake Worthen is the northwest recruiting analyst for Scout.)

I like this Worthen guy. He seems to have his pulse on what's important!

If everyone knows he's a buff, why the wait til wed? Is it a school thing ?

If someone wants to have his moment in the sun with a National Signing Day announcement, good for him. He only gets to do this once and it's a big deal. And it's not like we're talking about some mediocre prospect here. Parker was a top performer at the US Army All-American game.

Juda was a Tennessee commit at one point, but they asked him to decommit. You can read about it in a 44 page thread at VolNation if you're interested: http://www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-vols-recruiting/105709-11-hi-de-juda-parker.html

Hmm. Sort of read/skipped through the thread... in the beginning they were questioning Juda's talent, what the hell is this staff doing, etc. In the end, after the Army AA game, they loved Juda, were questioning what the hell their staff was doing, etc...
