'12 PA OLB Deaysean Rippy ('13 TNFR to Colorado)

If you are going to include the swing and misses, might as well include the home runs. . In hindsight the decision not to recruit Willingham, Rippy and Berglund were good decisions. I want Coach MacIntyre to look at the entire package. Is the student athlete the right fit for CU, not just because he is a 4 star.
I'll include them if you let me know who they are.

I think he's confusing "Home runs" with guys who "Went running home" after finding out they couldn't compete, couldn't handle school, couldn't handle having JE's and EB's spit in their face all the time or a myriad of other reasons why they either washed out or will be career benchwarmers.

JE recruited better than a number of teams in the conference, the trouble was that the conference was the Sun Belt.

Powell and Nembot are probably his best 2 recruits on offense. He did recruit well at DB with Crawley, Wright, Henderson, etc... I also liked his DT recruiting.

Still it isn't a homerun to pass on 4 star LB's. With our lack of depth we will now be starting true freshman at LB.

According to some Pittsburgh newspaper, he's been practicing with Pitt, so he's probably not going anywhere.

Embo has worked miracles in recruiting. I have been impressed with the players signed considering the state of the program before Embo was hired. Looks like it was a good decision to drop him if he is already looking to transfer after his redshirt season with Pittsburgh. I am not for taken anybody just because they have a 4 star next to their name. We need to look at the entire package.

Hey bb how do you feel about this news?

Coaches changed. He wasn't happy. He liked it here and talked to Doug more about it. He's also been exchanging tweets with Toney Clemons. They might be cousins (not sure), but they're definitely from the same area.

There's been a lot of guys unhappy/leaving Pitt. Chryst is having no hesitation parting with guys, even those from his first hastily put together class. They're in the middle of a major overhaul.
