Talked yesterday to someone pretty close and I'd advise CU fans that the Buffs will not be in the running.
What the hell did you say to them? Call and apologize!

Gonna be hard to beat out Stanford, IMO. I'm sure Ed is making a push for the trees.
Someone brought up the extra pressure of possibly playing in-state where his dad helped the broncs to a couple of super bowl rings. But I wonder if there's a little extra pressure being a legacy (following dad's footsteps and going to 'furd)?
I don't think that will be as big of an issue. Eddie Mac was solid at Stanford, but half the fans there are too young to remember. Eddie became a legend in Denver that went way beyond his school days. I expect they will take their visits and do diligence on each of them, before deciding.
He's another kid I coached basketball against in Gold Crown when this class was in 6-8th grade (my own son is also 2014). Sam Martin is another from Fairview, not to mention a couple of CU MBB recruits. This kid did not stand out to me as much then, but perhaps I was too enamored at staring at his Dad on the opposing bench. They were with Regis back then (as I remember) and they crushed us. Perkins was the real deal then as well, but you never know how kids will grow.
with Mustard...Is he Goodfeetin' outta here?
Yea they were with Regis. Played against Max when he was at Regis. Needless to say that was the most embarrassing loss of my life. Had to guard him and they lit us up.I don't think that will be as big of an issue. Eddie Mac was solid at Stanford, but half the fans there are too young to remember. Gee, why did they leave Regis for Valor?
Why? There was never any indication he was considering CU. I could see it if he led CU along and then jumped. My love/hate relationship with Stanford just got a little more hate-ey.

I'd prefer to not be constantly reminded that we were not even a consideration for him. Why? There was never any indication he was considering CU. I could see it if he led CU along and then jumped.
Good luck to him, but I don't see him playing RB in College, maybe WR or DB.
You get dumber by the day.
I coached against this kid in several sports as I have a 2014 kid. I think he is D1 but I would be surprised if he considers the Buffs. I assume a private academic institution would be in play. Stanford, Duke, NW, ND......
Buffaholic, you sure you can't spare the time to consult for CU recruiting? Crystal ball buff, farseer buff, clairvoyant buff, the prophet buff. Called it a year ago.
