I think we all liked Fontenot for how he fit in this system but man, last night confirmed it.

I was picturing him taking a couple of those pitches as well as cutting up off the quasi read-option plays. Thinking this guy is not only underrated but also a guy who so perfectly fits what our offense will be.
 
Not sure why his workload decreased so much this season. He only had 91 carries for 642 yards (7.1 ypc) and 10 TDs this season with, compared to 158 carries for 1,408 (8.9 ypc) yards and 21 TDs in 2015. IIRC, he even had that TCU RB commit to split time with last year, so he must have either missed some time or their offense went in a completely different philosophical direction. Good news. Sounds like we held off a late push from Baylor and Oregon and Fontenot is 100% Buff. Lot of credit to Hagan on this one.

“Coach Hagan is coming again this week to see me,” Fontenot said. “I can talk to Coach Hagan about anything. I can just be myself around him. He is like the coolest coach I have ever talked to. … It has been a weight lifted off my shoulders. I can't wait to sign with Colorado.”

This is good news. Our only true RB this cycle, and we need a RB bad. Mr Fontenot has a pretty legit film and has a future here. Might even crack the line-up and play some this year? opportunity is there. Good to hear about Hagan also.

Big props to Hagan from that quote, particularly the weight lifted off his shoulders. Hard to imagine all the pressure these kids are under, even if it seems like the world is their oyster right now. Well, yes I can, since it takes me back to the Cherry Creek Green Eagles football team trying to poach me from the Green Eagles baseball team. They were all like 'you'll be a huge star two sport athlete, some guy named Bo Jackson in the future will try to emulate you' yada yada yada.

Seriously though, great news!

Second, none of his tweets show for me on my iOS 10 phone (and I can see all other tweets from in other threads). Is he taking them down? Are they private? What gives?

I am anxious to see what Alex brings. I am never satisfied with the running game. I want #s at RB and all of em pushing each other. Taz gets the bulk then ?
I am hoping Alex is ready.
