UCSB hired Miller's top assistant from UofA. Top assistant on the staff used to be the HC at Cal. The commitment they made to building a basketball program is unprecedented for their level.

UCSB is my dad's alma mater. There's not many places better than Santa Barbara to spend 4 years of your life. Good school and they have a decent basketball history. I can see why he chose the Gauchos. There's a lot to sell.

But it's still a puzzling when he has multiple PAC-12 offers.
 
I grew up in Boulder but spend many a weekends in Santa Barbara now. Both places are amazing to live and go to school. Tip of the cap to the recruiting done by the staff at UCSB. Would have been a difference maker at CU!
 
Dirty, dirty. This one smells. If I'm the NCAA I start camping out at UCSB. Pasternack is a dirty bastard.,
