I hope we drop out of the rankings after this if we lose. Maybe then we'll get our heads out of our asses.
 
Say what you want about the refs, but playing bad defense while not shooting well and turning the ball over a lot is why we're losing tonight.
 
A shame Texas Southern couldn't have been the necessary wake up call this team needed. Same issues tonight. Better change some things and learn how to shoot again or CSU will beat us, no doubt about it

Bad officiating leads to bad defense. It starts to get in your head that if you get too close to a guy, the whistle will blow.
 
A really good team overcomes bad officiating on the road with their good play. We aren't a really good team right now.
 
Jelly needs to learn to keep his feet set. Could have flopped that play. This game is done.
 
Double digit loss to Wyoming? Wow. Knew we could lose, but we are getting our ass kicked in this second half. Sigh. Something about Buff teams and the road...never ends.
 
We do play pretty fast and reckless at times. The only charge call I had a problem with was in the first half when someone flopped on Scott before he got the ball, they didn't call it, then Scott got the pass and proceeded to attack the rim while the help defense arrived late and they still called a charge. An NBA ref punishes Wyoming for flopping there.

We struggle on the road but all that matters is that we're 8-1 over the last 9 neutral site games.

Agree with fast and reckless. However, far more than 1 charge was questionable. And, neutral site games are not "all that matters". To get where we want to be, we need to learn to stop being atrocious on the road.
 
Disappointing, but this team wasn't going undefeated. Hopefully, this team is angry to play CSU later in the week. Refs did us no favors, but can't really expect them to
 
Now this game is a real wake up call. Yeah the refs were a disgrace. But we still should have won. We had our chances.
