Datona has clarified. He's still committed to CU, he's just making sure everyone knows he'll flip if he gets what he considers a better offer and is open to hearing from other programs.
Don't think his commitment was all that solid to begin with.Sounds like an unofficial decommitment.
The most important thing is getting the right guy. Recruiting this season is secondary. In the best case, we hit a home run hire with plenty of time to salvage a good class. And it’s a two way street. Our commits may have second thoughts. But our new coach may also reevaluate the commits we have.this is why we need to move fast and get bad-ass recruiters in place. it sucks; but not unexpected.
My take is the kids have the right to change their mind. However, tagging others who have committed is immature and taking a shot at CU. Don't let the door hit ya!
Which other commits did he tag?
Just wait until those recruiting analysts from 247 and Rivals hear. Those star ratings will jump up if they decommit also.Greg Biggins, 4* DE out of Houston, Brandon Huffman, underrated 3* RB from San Diego, and Adam Gorney, 3* OT from Independence CC.
Fell into Chip's lap when USC backed off last night.
Kid just wanted to be in SoCal or what? You would have thought he would have looked back to the program he was actually committed to at one point when his "dream offer" was pulled.Fell into Chip's lap when USC backed off last night.
Bright lights have a pull to plenty.Kid just wanted to be in SoCal or what? You would have thought he would have looked back to the program he was actually committed to at one point when his "dream offer" was pulled.
