A small break in the premium firewall for you guys: Allen Trieu of 247 thinks that retaining Drake helps us on this one. Apparently they have a good relationship.
Wow! He was on the visit list. Then Drake left and he was off it. If we turned that around, it's a pretty big deal.
Indeed the Buffs are still in play for the Michigan trifecta.
This one will be the first big test for MT’s closing abilities.
The fact that Robinson backed out when Drake left and HCMT got him to recommit to the visit is a great sign to begin with.
He cancelled his visit when Drake left and they got him to change his mind. Would make sense that would be the case
Had a Virginia offer?
Virginia has a DL coach we'd be interested in. Nice catch...now where's the fire!!!

I'm somewhat surprised that Syracuse and Michigan State are out of it.
I don't think he's that high on Michigan.
Not sure about Mizzou, but I think he was a Minnesota lean before tripping to CU this weekend.
Had heard that Minnesota accepted a DL commit recently that may or may not have an impact on his decision.

Smoke, smoke and more smoke. Looking like Robinson will be a Buff, completing the Michigan to Boulder trifecta.
Don't know how well these three guys know each other if at all but it can be a real positive when you get multiple guys from the same area/background together. Gives them something in common and makes it easier for them to support each other through the adjustments and challenges involved in going to school someplace that isn't home.
Be great if these guys can come in and continue the tradition of Leonard Renfro, Sam Rodgers and Ronnie Woolfork, a great Buff trio from Michigan in the early 90s (and actually a quartet because Michael Westbrook came in and joined them.)
