I don't like putting hopes on family ties when dealing with recruits, but Laviska seems like the type of guy who is good at convincing others to join him. I'm fairly certain he was crucial in getting Nixon to stay here.
 
Illinois and Utah have offered recently. Good buzz on him from DeSoto's spring practices.
 
Has added offers from K-State, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia as the SEP draws to a close.
 
Excited that we have solid in's with brothers already on the team. Would love to land Shenault + Lytle for '19.
 
HIs brother is already showing flashes of being a special player.

LaVontae on tape shows a lot of the same characteristics. Getting them both on the field at the same time could be a nightmare for some defensive coordinators.

In addition to their skills I love the toughness. These guys are football players.
