Funny how fans are so sure their team is suddenly going to blow out their opponent (I read the same b.s. here and on Ramnation). There is no evidence for that. Projections of 30 and 40 and 63 point wins crack me up. It's like that old Saturday Night Live skit:
"Okay, how 'bout dis. Ditka vs. da Soviet Army."
"Ditka, seventy ta tree."
It was a 4-pt game last year, folks. And, as is usually the case in recent years, it could have gone either way. While I think CU is going to be much better this year due to Hawk's schemes taking hold and you finally having a decent QB, CSU is returning almost all its starters PLUS Kyle Bell. So you're looking at two teams that are very similar to last year's teams.
I think there is more scoring this year, but CSU's experience should give us an edge:

Having said that, if anyone has reliably picked this game over the years, let me know. I sure haven't.
