I really prefer the big, bold "COLORADO" and numbering style of the old jerseys. One change I do like is the cleaner look on the shoulders. Keep it simple with either the number or a black (away)/gold (home) Buff. And I'm a big fan of the old gold.

I agree. Why couldn't they just reverse the home version? The silly outline of the number and the mini-Colorado are not good.

With a 2-19 record playing on road the last 5 years small is good

no. you are not. a small "COLORADO" in honor of the natl champ team is bad. i dont care if CU was playing a bunch of JV kids from the northern most reaches of montana, idaho and north dakota. the point of the unis was to honor the natl champ team. that uni does not resemble what they wore in any way other than the black numbers on a white jersey.

I think the point was that the current buffs haven't earned the big COLORADO on the road and maybe they should have to wear the small colorado until they do.

That's all well and good until you remember that Dan Hawkins is our coach. Then you start to think "hey, if we're going to suck, we might as well look good doing it".

We really need to stop effing around with our jerseys. Just go back to what we had in 1990 and be done with it.
