What?
Don't forget that BBT.Looks like I will finally get my annual trip to Vegas justified! Buffs, Blackjack and Bitches!
Sorry, I'm just thinking aloud to which tourneys are in Vegas this week, and I was informed the WCC just finished up (It runs earlier than the other tournaments), so I'm assuming that its the MWC and WAC tournaments are there at the same time.
Anyway, its awesome this the tourney will be in Vegas come next year.
Baseball is suddenly going to change the World Series to neutral site games?
Don't forget that BBT.
I didnt say they would. I said they would lobby for it
Really? Sometimes things you want are so far out of reach it would be a complete waste of time, money and effort to lobby for them. I think the people in Vegas are smart enough to figure out this is one of those times.

as we suspected. ALLSOME.First, the future: The Pac-12 is expected to announce next week that the basketball tournament is headed to the Las Vegas starting in 2013 — specifically, to the MGM Grand Garden — according to sources with knowledge of the league’s plans. The move isn’t official. It must be approved by the schools this week. Of the proposals on the table, Las Vegas/MGM is the overwhelming favorite.
Think of it as Kentucky, if the Wildcats were in the Pac-12 …

Scott is all hush hush, but MGM Grand reps are in LA at the P12 tourney.
They aren't gonna like what they see..
Ah true true. Good point.Just the opposite. They're going to love the bargaining position this puts them in.
We gotta get this game out of LA. Holy crap, that stadium is empty. And these 9:30 or later tips have got to go. I'll stay up for the big dance, not opening conference games.
It sounds perfect .....On the plus side, in Vegas 9:30 PM is basically 2 in the afternoon....
Not sure how it will go at MGM Grand. I've been to several hockey games there, and the place is EXTREMELY cramped outside the arena. Concourses, and the only entrance from the hotel into the arena. Basically the arena is off the mall connected to MGM Grand. To get there you walk through the mall and up a hallway. There are a few doors leading from there into the arena. Everybody basically has to come in the same way, and it ends up shoulder to shoulder all the way through the mall and the casino at the end of a game. It's still gonna be fun, though, no doubt...
