2015 Uniforms

CU's Nike Mach Speed uniforms better come with a better cod piece than those dickless TCU frogskins. /meatgazer

-There will be three uniform options, black, white, and silver/gray.
-Two new hemet options, white, and silver. I'm told the gold will be updated to something closer to Florida State's gold. A little more "bold" i guess you would say. Of course, the matte blacks will still be an option too.
-The person who has seen these absolutely loved them and said they are nothing crazy, but updated, simple, and sick.
No word on if the golds will match up but if they mess that up again I will be at a loss for words.

I will wait to see them, but initially am disinclined to like a white CU helmet.

There is also a photo around the internet from pac-12 media day of a white helmet and facemask with a silver buff logo. The conference made them for each team. They looked alright. Hard to see the logo though.
 
There's going to be an alternate helmet that does have a buffalo on it. Whether we go back to the old CU or horns, expect a one off helmet.

would be a subtle color change that I think could pay off as far as branding is concerned. FSU updated all colors and logos to become easier to control the consistency and quality of reproduction. So merchandising should be easier to match the actual colors worn by the team. However if they can't match the colors between the helmet, pants, and any other accents, then nike should give up. Having three different shades of gold on the uniform is stupid.

Kind of what it sounds like. To me it almost sounds like the basketball uni updates a year or two ago. Modernized the look while keeping the white and black uni sets virtually the same while adding an alternate "non traditional" silver/grey set.
 
Only thing I'd change on the white helmet is make the CU gold, maybe add some gold on the pants and jersey, it'd look sick.
