We figured when he was drafted that Chido would make the Cowboys. Now it looks like Carroll is not only going to make the team but could see a decent amount of playing time and that Chido is going to be on the field a lot.
Love the thought of those two guys keeping CU in the ears of Dallas area HS players.
And you could pick off a Geno Smith pass.
Not that he has to worry about a roster spot, he should be solid but Spoon has had some rough moments tonight for the Niners against the Vikings.
He got a PI, He has been rubbed off a couple times in coverage leaving his man open and he looked to be the safety on the kick coverage team when they gave up a TD return.
He'll be fine in the long term, this stuff happens to rookies but not a good night.

Saw a couple projections that Carrell is headed to the practice squad.
Spruce not being able to stay healthy can't have helped him.
They also drafted Cooper Kupp. A team can only have one white receiver on the roster at a time, unless you're the Patriots.
I was hoping for him there. Does he have any practice squad eligibility, I don't think so but if he does Seattle would be a good place.
Not CU related, but pretty cool to see a local kid in Austin Ekeler make the Chargers roster. He's from Eaton, played for Western State in Gunnison and caught the eye of some scouts at CU's pro day. Chargers took a flyer on him as a UDFA and he's now beaten out a guy like Kenjon Barner, who starred at Oregon, to make an NFL roster.
That is awesome
